Buyamba in the local Lugandan language means simply “to help”.

Buyamba Soles ^® was created to help the women and children in need in Uganda. A portion of all proceeds from the sale of Buyamba Soles footwear will given back to an established non profit organization , Uganda Buyamba. Uganda Buyamba supports over a thousand students in their Nursery/Primary school and high school programs. In addition we hope to establish new markets and create a sustainable work environment for the women that make the beautiful paper beads that adorn the footwear.
